Well, Phil Nickerson, you no longer, according to your own rule, are allowed to use the title, Phil Nickerson, because Phil Nickerson isn't used in scripture! :)

As for Matt 18:20, are you referring to the KJV version or the TW version? You see, the TW version has all those "added" words to give special meaning to each word so it ends up saying much more than the KJV version. In other words it becomes quite exclusionary in the TW version. Considering the FACT that all recognize that Matthew was written to the Jews, just what does anything in Matthew have to do with the assembly anyway?

What is interesting about Matthew 18:20 is that I've seen it printed or carved on the table in the front of many churches! Yet, the TW's think it ONLY applies to them! :) The TW's think that the only way it can include other believers is IF they become like them and join them in their exclusive group! :)

I said, "For example, The Saints Gathered to the Name of the Lord Jesus in >Des Moines, when applied to ONE group that meets in ONE building >EXCLUDES all the other believers in Des Moines!!!

You said: This provides no argument for saints to take unscriptural titles / names upon themselves to the exclusion of the rest of God's people.

The "saints" is found in scripture. "Gathered in my name" is found in scripture. But the term, "The Saints Gathered to the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ" isn't found in scripture. Therefore it is an unscriptural title/name.

Now, are you willing to admit that the term, "The Saints Gathered to the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ" includes all believers? Any other use of it is blatant exclusion of the rest of God's people!
