Feelings have nothing to do with salvation: The word is used only two times
in the New Testament;

feel is used only one - neither time does it have anything to do with
salvation. The joy and rejoicing comes from believing God when he tells us in
the scriptures that "our sins are forgiven when we believe on the Son." In
Hebrews 4:15, "we have an high priest who is touched with the feeling of our
infirmities." In Ephesians 4:19 the ones who have turned away from God and are
passed feeling. In Acts 17, again those who need to seek after God.
