Scripture Truth
Feel - Feeling
Hebrews 4:15 - For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched
with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like
as we are, yet without sin..
Ephesians 4:19 - Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto
lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.
' .**''- * ' Acts 17:27 - That they should seek the Lord, ifhaply they
might feel after him, and find him, though
he be not far from every one of us:
"Be my feelings what they will, Jesus is my saviour still. "
- Unknown
"Feelings come and feelings go,
And feelings are deceiving. Our trust is in the Word of God, Naught else
is worth believing. "
- Unknown
Feelings have nothing to do with salvation: The word is used only two
times in the New Testament;
feel is used only one - neither time does it have anything to do with
salvation. The joy and rejoicing comes from believing God when he tells
us in the scriptures that "our sins are forgiven when we believe on the
Son." In Hebrews 4:15, "we have an high priest who is touched with the
feeling of our infirmities." In Ephesians 4:19 the ones who have turned
away from God and are passed feeling. In Acts 17, again those who need
to seek after God.
May I ask you a question? Do you believe God, or are you trusting your
feelings?
