Scripture Truth
John 3: 4 "Nicodemus saith unto him, how can a man be born when he is
old? Can he
enter the second time into his mother's womb and be born? V: 5 Jesus
answered, verily,
verily, I say unto thee, except a man^e born of water and of the spirit,
he cannot enter into the kingdom of God."
I Peter 1:23 "being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of
incorruptible,
by the word of God, which liveth and abideth forever."
When the Lord Jesus told one of the most religious men that has ever lived
"that ye must be born again, "he did not understand, what he meant, so
he asked:
low can a man be born when he is old?" Even if a person could be born
again physically
that would not be sufficient, every person must be born from above, into
spiritual life.
We are all born into the world, into a fallen race. We are all
descendents of Adam.
Romans 5:12 "Wherefore as by one man sin entered into the world, and
death by sin;
>nd so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned." We are all
born with a sinful
nature, we do not sin to become sinners, and we sin because we are sinners.
When a person believes in Christ "They pass from death to life"
I John 3:14 the Holy Spirit of God comes into our lives,
and we are born again into life in Christ, who is the head of the new
creation.
May I ask you a question - Do you have this new life, in Christ? II
Corinthians 5:17.
