Scripture Truth
John 4:47- "When the Nobleman heard that Jesus was come out ofJudca into
Galilee, he
went unto Him, and besought Him that He would come down and heal His Son:
For he was at the point of death.
V48 - The Nobleman saith unto Him, "Sir, come down ere my child die.
V50- Jesus saith unto Him, Go thy way; thy Son liveth; And the man
believed the word that
Jesus had spoken unto him, and he went his way.
V51 -And as he was now going down. His servants met him and told him,
saying. Thy Son liveth.
V53 - So the father knew that it was at the same hour in which Jesus
said unto him,
thy Son liveth: And he himself believed, and his whole house."
About 700 years before Christ came into the world, the Prophet, Isaiah,
had said: Chapter
35:5 - that when the Messiah would come into the world, the eyes of the
blind shall be
opened, and the cars of the deaf shall be unstopped, then shall the lame
man leap as a hart,
and the tongue of the dumb shall sing." Our Lord Jesus Christ came and
fulfilled every
prophecy that was foretold about his first coming. He healed the sick,
cleansed the lepers,
and raised the dead; thus He proved that he was the Christ of God. The
Nobleman
believed Him, what He said, that's faith. We must come to Him, not only
to be healed,
. but also to have our sins forgiven.
May I ask you a question - Have you ever trusted in Christ alone for
your salvation?
Do, as the Nobleman did, believe what He says in the Word of God.
